Jenna Fischer's most recognizable part is as Pam Beesly in the highly acclaimed television series The Office. Fischer was awarded two SAG Awards and an Emmy for her exceptional performance in an ensemble comedy.
She was born and raised within Fort Wayne in Indiana. Jenna was attracted by her mother's church performances as she began her career.
Fischer is an actress who has theater training. The Off-Broadway show she starred in was the play Reasons to be Happy which was written and directed by Neil LaBute and co-starring Josh Hamilton, Leslie Bibb, and Fred Weller. In the following play, she was in Steve Martin's latest show Meteor Shower. It was a comedy that was absurd, starring Greg Germann and Josh Stamberg and ran for record breaking time at Old Globe Theatre.
The Office co-star Angela Kinsey and Fischer created Office Ladies, a podcast hosted by Earwolf in October 2019. The show has been an enormous success, making its Top Ten worldwide every week, and receiving more than 200 million downloads within the first two years. Office Ladies took home the iHeart Radio Podcast of the Year award in January 2021.
She's written two books, The Actor's Life, a Survival Guide in which she describes her path to Hollywood acting as a professional as well as Office BFF's, Tales of The Office From Two Great Friends who Were There, which is a story of the greatest friendships they enjoyed and their time in The Office.
